Maren is an advisor to Accirculate, an innovation psychologist and founder of Innoviva, an innovation consultancy that focuses on the human side of innovation. She speaks at international conferences on agile motivation and innovation culture.

As an innovation consultant Maren facilitates idea workshops and creativity trainings. She provides agile softskill seminars for product owners. She enjoys combining her insights from her M.S. Psychology (RWTH Aachen, 2001) and her M.S. Creative Studies (SUNY, 2006) with experiences from working in a big corporate, teaching at university (innovation, facilitation & entrepreneurship) and her competences from consulting companies and teams as a freelance since 2009.

To her, the key to sustainable growth for any organization is the ability to think novel and solution-oriented, then apply the insights gained in an agile manner. This always begins with the people.

Since 2020 she volunteers as an agile coach at Klima vor acht, a German initiative seeking prime time objective coverage of climate topics in public TV. In 2021 she was appointed ambassador for the UN world creativity and innovation day for Germany.
